5 Day Warrnambool Tour
Cost: $795.00 per person, twin share, minimum of 30 passengers
$200.00 single supplementary extra per room for 4 nights

Not included: All lunches, morning & afternoon teas not stipulated or items of a personal nature.
Day 1- Melbourne – Warrnambool
After boarding our coach at a pre-arranged time and Location we will travel via Geelong to Colac where we will have lunch at own expense. Following lunch, we’ll meet back with our coach at a per-arranged time to continue our journey. Continuing your journey, we’ll turn off the highway and head towards Blackwood Gully Tourist Centre. At the highest point of the Great Ocean Road, the Blackwood Gully site commands views out over the forest and the Southern Ocean to the south. We’ll visit Port Campbell National Park for a view of the 12 Apostles (Now Only Eight), Lochard Gorge, London Bridge and the rugged cliffs which have made this area famous worldwide. We continue travel to Warrnambool along the Great Ocean Road, the coast around Warrnambool and down to Cape Otway is known as the Shipwreck Coast, due to the large number of water vessels that ran aground in the 1800s and early 1900s, due to ferocious weather conditions and the rocky coastline. We’ll book into our motel Mid-City Motel to freshen up and relax before dinner at the Mid-City Motel restaurant. You are free to visit any Clubs or venues of your choosing after dinner each evening at own expense. Please chat to your coach captain, regarding drop offs, you wish to arrange.
Day 2 - Warrnambool Sightseeing
After breakfast at 10.00 am we commence a morning with some sight-seeing then board our Warrnambool River Cruise, along the Hopkins River tea & coffee included.
After our cruise, we continue with the tour making our way to the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village. A guide will take us through this fascinating village explaining its maritime history. Take some time for a lunch in town – we will meet the coach around 2.00 pm for an afternoon tea at the RSL where we will watch the running of the Iconic Melbourne Cup. Winner takes the prize. Each person will receive a ticket with the name of their horse in the race. If you would rather not attend afternoon tea and cup draw at the RSL then our driver will arrange a drop off and pick up point for the afternoon free to wander.
Dinner tonight will be at the Mid-City Motel restaurant followed by Flagstaff Hill Sound and light show at 7.20pm.

Day 3 - Portland
After breakfast, today we will make our way to the Wind Farm at Codrington for a guided tour of the intricate workings of this impressive wind farm, currently the largest wind power station in operation boasting 14 towers each standing fifty meters in height. After lunch (location to be decided) we will take a tour around many historical sites, such as the Bluestone Municipal complex & Old Inns, which date back to 1842. The lighthouse and Mary Mckillop drive. Lastly, we will visit Bridgewater Bay, with views of the rugged coastline. A short walk will take you to the blowholes and Petrified Forest. Once thought to be the remains of a Moonah forest smothered by a large sand dune, creating unusual sandstone formations around the decaying tree trunks, now believed to be hollow tubes of limestone, eroded due to millions of years of rainfall.

Day 4 - Port Fairy
Today we will visit the delightful town of Port Fairy. A local tour guide will meet our coach and provide a commentary as we tour this pretty township. Amongst its many attractions are the Whalers Cottage the old wharf and historic early public buildings, all of which give Port Fairy its 19th century atmosphere. We’ll stay in Port Fairy for lunch at one of the quaint hotels or one of the many eateries in town at own expense. We also visit Tower Hill State Game Reserve, one of Victoria's largest and most recently active volcanoes. Dinner tonight will be at the Warrnambool RSL. (own cost)
Day 5 -Friday - Warrnambool – Home
After breakfast, today we will say goodbye to our hosts at the Motel and begin our journey home. First stop will be at Allansford Cheese World for a tour and cheese tasting, there is also a Café here, if you wish to have morning tea at own expense. We’ll then board our coach to continue home, taking time to stop off at Lorne, Anglesea and Torquay, for some short visits, and leg stretch. We will arrive home early evening with fond memories of our tour.
